Necessary skills and qualifications
At least an intermediate level of spoken and written English
Higher education, a degree in Accounting/ Economics/ Finance
At least 3 years of experience as an AR/AP accountant
Experience in one of the industry-specific accounting sectors: IT services, eCommerce
Experience with US GAAP, UK GAAP and П(С)БО, along with knowledge of document handling and record-keeping requirements
Computer proficiency, including experience with accounting software (1C, Xero), word processing tools (Google Docs, etc.); and advanced skills in using spreadsheet and database software (Google Sheets, etc.)
Personal qualities: proactive, flexible, reliable, self-disciplined, goal-oriented, and continuously self-improving team player with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Will be a plus
Advanced experience with Xero; 1C: Enterprise 8.3
Experience in accounting of foreign entities (UK, US, DE) or/and with EU VAT, VIES reporting
Knowledge of using Zapier, G-accon, A2X and other similar tools
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by posting and processing transactions and reconciling assigned accounts
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collecting, and processing supplier invoices
Ensure all financial transactions, including refunds and adjustments, are processed in a timely and accurate manner
Prepare and maintain required accounting reports and document registers/books
Analyze financial data to identify and resolve issues and discrepancies
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Assist with other projects/ tasks assigned by the manager as needed
Fixed assets accounting (FA accounting)
Service costing (or service cost calculation)
