Necessary skills and qualifications
Higher education, a degree in Law
At least 4 years of experience as a practicing lawyer in the IT industry
Experience in handling various legal drafts (contracts, agreements, policies, minutes of meetings, and other legal instruments)
Practical experience under Diia City legal framework
Good knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor, military, and tax laws of Ukraine and comprehensive understanding of legislation of UK, US, DE
Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Office, legal research, and other advanced tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, management skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Scrupulous attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good stress tolerance and adaptability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
English proficiency at least at an upper-intermediate level
Will be a plus
Solid knowledge of corporate, commercial, and tax laws of the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany
Experience as a practicing lawyer in any industry-specific legal area, such as logistics, banking, or E-commerce
Good spoken and written German language skills
Expertise in Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Key responsibilities and duties
Provide legal advice and support for decision-making and identification of legal risks on a range of business activities, related to corporate, labor, tax, commercial, military, and civil law within the appropriate jurisdictions.
Draft, review, and maintain up-to-date corporate and legal documents, including contracts, agreements, meeting minutes, and other legal instruments related to customers, suppliers, employees, and intercompany relationships of named jurisdictions.
Manage all legal aspects related to Diia City residency, including compliance with relevant regulations, labor law, tax law, and civil law, as well as support issues related to military law compliance and critical entity status.
Conduct or assist with opening bank and payment system accounts, as well as handle compliance and KYC requests, particularly from financial institutions, marketplaces (e.g. Amazon), and other relevant.
Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure the consistent and effective management of legal risks and compliance obligations.
Monitor and maintain an up-to-date legal knowledge database, and inform the team promptly about relevant changes.
Assist with other projects/tasks assigned by the stakeholder.
