Application Architect (Java)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Architect to join our dedicated team. You'll be building high-performance, scalable fintech solutions for a pioneering digital, mobile-only bank, helping us redefine the future of financial services.
Technical stack for the project: microservices architecture using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM), native mobile applications.

Necessary skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience, is required
8 + years of experience in one or more of the following: Java, Spring, Java EE, Development
3+ years of experience as a Solution/Software/Application Architect on a Java-based microservices project
Experience with cloud provider services and container technologies (AWS, Docker, API Gateway, IAM)
Strong experience with API architecture
In-depth knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in using Jira and Confluence documentation
Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
Will be a plus
Prior experience with Modern Core Banking systems
Responsibilities
Define and document the overall solution architecture
Work together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution
Adhere to architectural standards and best practices
Ensure that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the solution
