Trainee QA Engineer (IoT projects)

Necessary skills and qualifications
Completed courses or commercial experience in manual testing
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (STLC, bug life cycle)
Basic understanding of common communication protocols and interfaces: UART, MQTT, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, SSH, BT/BLE
Demonstrated interest in the IoT/embedded field (e.g., personal projects, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi)
Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
At least an Intermediate level of English
Will be a plus
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
Familiarity with the Linux command line (Basic bash commands)
Understanding of basic integration and component testing concepts
Responsibilities
Analyze client requirements to ensure a clear understanding of embedded system functionality and testing needs
Write and execute manual test cases for IoT devices and firmware
Log defects clearly and verify bug fixes
Support the team in setting up and maintaining hardware test environments
