Necessary skills and qualifications
Higher education, a degree in Law
At least 2 years of experience as a practicing lawyer in the IT industry
Experience in handling a wide range of legal drafts, including contracts, policies, meeting minutes, and other legal instruments
Solid knowledge of Ukrainian corporate, commercial, labor, military, and tax legislation relevant to IT business operations
Proficient in Google Workspace, including Docs and Sheets, Microsoft Office, and legal research tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Scrupulous attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with flexibility and stress resilience
English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher (comfortable drafting and reviewing legal documents in English)
Will be a plus
Understanding of corporate, commercial, and tax legislation in at least one foreign jurisdiction (the United Kingdom, the United States, or Germany)
Practical experience working with the Diia City legal framework
Experience as a practising lawyer in any industry-specific legal area, such as logistics, banking, or ecommerce.
Expertise in other advanced legal tools
Good spoken and written German language skills
Expertise in Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Key responsibilities and duties
Provide legal support for day-to-day business activities, including preliminary legal risk assessment and assisting in decision-making on matters related to corporate, labor, tax, commercial, military, and civil law
Draft, review, and maintain up-to-date legal documentation. Prepare basic drafts based on approved templates and initial versions of more complex documents for further review by the Legal team
Draft and review commercial agreements with clients and vendors (NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, etc.).
Support legal aspects related to Diia City residency
Assist with compliance and KYC processes
Administer legal documentation flows, including maintaining registers, organizing signing processes, and ensuring proper document archiving
Conduct legal research and prepare draft memoranda, analytical notes, and periodic legal updates. Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory changes
Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure the consistent and effective management of legal risks and compliance obligations
Perform office-based legal tasks as necessary, including coordinating the signing of physical documents, ensuring the availability of required originals, and providing administrative support during visits from regulatory authorities
Monitor and maintain an up-to-date legal knowledge database, and promptly inform the team of relevant changes
Assist with other projects/tasks assigned by the stakeholders
