Necessary skills and qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Deputy Chief Accountant, preferably in the IT sector
Full-cycle accounting for legal entities under the general taxation system (non-VAT payers), excluding HR and military registration
Practical experience in foreign economic activity: currency regulation, multi-currency transactions, international invoices, and agreements
Software proficiency: strong knowledge of 1C, M.E.Doc, the Electronic Cabinet of the Taxpayer, Paperless, client-bank systems, and Google Sheets or MS Excel
Deep knowledge of Ukrainian Accounting Standards and accounting principles
Ability to work with large volumes of information, make informed decisions, and initiate process optimization proposals to increase operational efficiency
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strict adherence to deadlines
Pre-Intermediate English level or higher
Will be a plus
Experience in foreign economic activity (FEA) regarding the export of IT services
Hands-on experience with residents of the Diia.City special legal regime
Skilled at supporting audit checks, including preparing documentation and responding to auditors' requests
Knowledge of HR accounting, military registration, and reporting
Experience with international accounting systems, specifically Xero
Responsibilities
Full-cycle accounting for non-VAT legal entities under the general taxation system (excluding HR and military registration)
Preparing and submitting financial, tax, and statistical reports to government authorities
Processing and verifying primary documentation, including foreign economic activity (FEA) records
Managing bank transactions and conducting reconciliations for individual legal entities
Handling accounts receivable/payable, including counterparty reconciliations and issuing/dispatching client invoices (digital and hard copy)
Supporting audits by preparing documents and liaising with auditors, banks, and state authorities
Monitoring tax law updates and internal deadlines, keeping the Chief Accountant informed
Assisting the Chief Accountant with ad-hoc tasks and internal accounting processes
Participating in month, quarter, and year-end closing procedures
